Yocum Employees Supply School Supplies for the
Amherst H. Wilder Foundation Children’s Programs

As part of our efforts to give back to the communities we serve, Yocum employees have responded to a need affecting the children of our community.
Once again, Yocum Oil Company’s employees from all facets of the company (retail, wholesale, sales and administrative employees) got involved in the Wilder Foundation’s Back to School Supply Drive. The need was greater this year and so was our response. Employees contributed 84 backpacks and 8 boxes of various school supplies.The Amherst H. Wilder Foundation is committed to increasing school success and closing the achievement gap. Providing kids with the tool they need is a huge step in this process. Wilder’s goal this year was 892 backpacks filled with supplies. Yocum Oil employees helped them reach that goal!
During the course of this effort, the employees at Yocum Oil proved once again to be driven in reaching their goal, generous without exception and organized in activity. The experience was enjoyed by all and very appreciated by the staff at Wilder Foundation.
