Yocum Oil Presented with Three Top Awards
At the Minnesota Petroleum Marketers
Convention last week, Tim Yocum attended a dinner hosted by Equilon Enterprises.
At that dinner, Tim accepted three awards on behalf of Yocum Oil Company and its
employees for its outstanding performance within the Great Lakes Wholesale
District, Equilon Enterprises.
The first award was "Winning Combination
Period II Top Performer". This is our third consecutive award in this area
that recognizes our outstanding scores based on the Winning Combination Program
that evaluates facilities based on image, cleanliness, functionality, and
customer service.
The second award presented to Yocum Oil
recognized our efforts and our dealers' efforts on interior image as well as
exterior image according to the brand standards set by Texaco. The
"Outstanding Image" award is the top award for Texaco Wholesalers in
our District.
The other award is a very distinguished award and
a much sought after award. It was with great pride that we accepted the
"Wholesaler of the Year" award. This award recognizes
outstanding performance in image standards, hours of operation, diversified
marketing, and the development of successful business opportunities.
The key to success for Yocum Oil Company has been
to focus on the individual. This starts with our employees and extends outwardly
to the customers. Our store employees and our dealer-operated employees alike
have made the commitment to our customers, our fellow employees, and the brand.
