Equilon Announces Innovator Award Winners

Yocum Oil Company One of Four Texaco Distributors Named

We are proud to announce that Yocum Oil Company, Inc. has been selected as one of four Texaco distributors to earn the Equilon Innovators Award. The presentation was given at a special award dinner at Equilon's national convention in February.

As you may know, Equilon is the name of the company resulting from the joint venture between Texaco and Shell, effectively merging the two companies into one. Equilon has developed their Innovators Award to distinguish those distributors who stand above the pack for a variety of reasons. As stated earlier, we are one of only four Texaco lubricant winners and four Shell winners in the nation. The combined Texaco and Shell distributors number about 1130. Criteria for achieving this most prestigious award is long and includes brand loyalty, community involvement, team approach, leadership, sales, and many more.

Congratulations not only to our employees that work in all of the lubricant departments in St. Paul and Iowa, but to all employees of Yocum Oil Company. We have been looked at and judged through many eyes and it's the effort of all employees that make the difference to earn this type of award.
