What:
2007 Walk to Cure Diabetes fund raising
event. Yocum Oil and Coca-Cola
partnered with JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes
Research Foundation International) to help raise money to fund
research to cure diabetes. By
selling sneakers, customers contributed to JDRF with every "sneaker"
they purchased from Yocum Oil
Holiday Station Stores.
When:
Starting Sunday April 22rd and
ending Saturday May 19th.
Objective
The goal of this promotion was to
drive awareness around Juvenile Diabetes and raise money to find a cure. We
worked as as teams within the in Yocum Oil stores and had fun raising
over $6000 for a worthy cause. Thank you to all who participated in this
fund-raising endeaver.
